This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of the Openfore platform, including the Openfore mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to the Openfore Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of this Policy

Openfore is designed to help golfers connect and coordinate tee times. This policy protects the platform and its users from abuse, fraud, and technical attacks.

2. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the Service to engage in any activity that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, disruptive, or deceptive.

Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
Impersonating another person or organization
Posting false or misleading tee times
Attempting to manipulate or exploit the platform
Using the Service for illegal activities

3. Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Users may not use the platform to send spam or unsolicited messages.

Examples include:

Mass invitations unrelated to golf participation
Promotional spam
Repeated unwanted messaging
Automated messaging systems

4. Automated Access and Bots

Automated access to the Service is prohibited without written permission.

This includes:

Bots or automated accounts
Web scraping tools
Data mining systems
Automated account creation

5. Data Harvesting

Users may not collect or harvest data from the platform including user profiles, contact information, or usage data.

Unauthorized data collection for marketing or commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

6. Platform Security

Users may not attempt to compromise the security of the Service.

Examples include:

Hacking or attempting to gain unauthorized access
Disrupting servers or infrastructure
Uploading malware or malicious code
Conducting denial-of-service attacks
Testing vulnerabilities without permission

7. Reverse Engineering

Users may not reverse engineer, copy, replicate, or attempt to extract source code, algorithms, or proprietary systems from the Service.

8. Abuse of Features

Users must not exploit platform features in ways that harm the Service or its users.

This includes:

Creating fake activity
Manipulating rankings or visibility
Abusing invitation systems
Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions

9. AI and Automated Systems

The use of artificial intelligence systems to copy, scrape, replicate, or train models using Openfore data without authorization is prohibited.

10. Enforcement

Openfore reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy.

Actions may include:

Removing content
Restricting access
Suspending accounts
Permanently terminating accounts
Reporting illegal activities to authorities

Users who encounter violations of this policy may report them to:

12. Changes to this Policy

Openfore may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
