Openfore is designed to connect golfers with other golfers and create opportunities to enjoy the game together. These Community Guidelines help ensure that the platform remains safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.

By using Openfore, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to the Openfore Terms of Service.

1. Respect Other Members

Treat other golfers with courtesy and respect both online and in person.

The following behavior is not allowed:

Harassment, threats, or intimidation
Hate speech or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
Personal attacks or abusive language
Unwanted repeated messages or harassment

2. Be Honest and Authentic

Users must provide truthful information when participating in the platform.

Prohibited actions include:

Creating fake profiles
Impersonating another person
Misrepresenting golf bookings or tee times
Using misleading or deceptive information

3. No Spam or Unauthorized Promotion

Openfore is intended for golfers connecting with other golfers.

The following activities are prohibited:

Spam messages or mass invitations
Unauthorized advertising or marketing
Posting commercial offers unrelated to golf participation
Soliciting personal information for unrelated purposes

4. Protect User Safety

Users should exercise good judgment when interacting with others.

Openfore does not supervise or verify users and cannot guarantee the behavior of individuals you may meet through the platform.

For your safety:

Meet in public locations such as golf courses
Confirm tee times directly with the course
Avoid sharing sensitive personal information
Report suspicious behavior

5. No Illegal Activity

Users must not use the Service for unlawful activities including:

Fraud or scams
Financial exploitation
Threats or violence
Posting illegal materials

6. Respect Golf Courses and Facilities

When coordinating rounds through Openfore, users must respect the rules and policies of golf courses.

This includes:

Following course etiquette
Respecting pace of play
Complying with course rules
Treating staff and players respectfully

7. Respect Privacy

Do not post or share another user's personal information without permission.

Private conversations should not be publicly disclosed without consent.

8. Prohibited Technical Behavior

Users must not attempt to interfere with the operation of the platform.

This includes:

Using bots or automated tools
Scraping user data
Reverse engineering the platform
Attempting to bypass security features

9. Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it.

10. Enforcement

Openfore may take action against users who violate these guidelines.

Possible actions include:

Content removal
Account warnings
Temporary suspension
Permanent account termination

Openfore reserves the right to determine violations at its sole discretion.

These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect platform changes or community needs.

Continued use of Openfore indicates acceptance of updated guidelines.
